Meetings and Events

	The Bromeliad Society of South Florida meets on the third Tuesday of every month. Please see calendar below.
	We meet at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road, Miami, FL 33156, 7:30 p.m. in the Corbin Building, classroom "A". Refreshment are served. We have a Plant Raffle and a Sales table.
	Visitors are welcome to attend meetings but only members can participate in door prize and raffle drawings.
	Members are kept informed through our monthly Newsbulletins

Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm
at the home of our president. Members are welcome to attend.

January 20:	Let’s Celebrate the New Year with a Warm & Cozy Potluck! Please bring a dish to share—we love to eat while we listen! ߎ? Bring a dish and receive a raffle ticket to win a bromeliad. February 17:	Speaker: Sandy Roth & Denise Karman Topic: Will be demonstrating how to make Kokodama in this very hands-on workshop. Bring your creativity and get ready to craft your own living art @7:30 PM at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens
March 17:	Speaker: Alex Bello Topic: Our President, Alex will be leading an important discussion at our upcoming meeting as we begin preparations for our Annual Show coming up in May. @7:30 PM at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens
April 21:	Speaker: Diana Gonzalez Topic: We’re excited to feature Diana Gonzalez, who will lead a special ceramics event designed to get our creative juices flowing—just in time for spring! Enjoy a live potter’s wheel demonstration, followed by a hands-on session where members will work with clay to create garden gnomes and/or decorative bells for the garden. All pieces will be professionally fired and returned to you in May. @7:30 PM at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens

December 15:	Topic: HOLIDAY PARTY AND AUCTION What to Bring: - A nice plant to donate to the auction (optional) - A side dish for dinner, or appetizer, or rolls, drinks (homemade eggnog?) or dessert - A wrapped plant for the secret plant exchange (optional but you cannot pick a plant if you do not bring one.) - NON-MEMBERS: $10.00 charge for dinner - NON-MEMBERS who are only coming for the auction do not have to be there until 7:30. You will not receive a ticket for dinner. We will have non-table seating for you @ 7:00 PM at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens
